Font conversion, explained.

How do I convert a font to WOFF2?

Upload a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 font, select WOFF2, and choose Convert fonts. Download the WOFF2 file individually or get the ZIP with fonts, stylesheet.css, preview.html and README.txt.

Can I convert TTF to OTF, or OTF to TTF?

Yes, for supported static fonts. The converter rebuilds the outlines and removes original hinting, so check the result before use. Variable, colour and fonts with point-based layout data keep their native outlines.

How long do font download links last?

Links remain available for 24 minutes after conversion completes. After that, access expires and cleanup removes temporary files. Conversion history retains basic font names and output formats.

Can I use the fonts in WordPress or Elementor?

Yes, if your font licence allows web use. Upload matching files and weights through a custom-font feature supported by your WordPress or Elementor installation, or use the generated @font-face CSS.

How many fonts can I convert at once?

Upload up to 10 files, with a maximum of 5 MiB per file and 25 MiB for the batch. Inputs can be TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2.

Does conversion change the font licence?

No. Converting or subsetting a font does not grant new permissions. Check the original licence before embedding or distributing the font.

Are AI font facts verified?

Embedded details come from the font file. Optional Gemini suggestions are labelled unverified and cached for reuse. FontReady sends selected metadata, not the uploaded font binaries, to Gemini.

Do I need an account?

No FontReady account is required. Recent conversions belong to the current browser session; download links can be shared while they remain valid.
